Introduction

When our agency went on the interview trip to China last June, they took photos, videos, and basic information about the kids available to be hosted.

We would like to introduce you to “Miss Dress-Up”.  This is the nickname she was given by the interview team.  For privacy reasons, we cannot disclose her Chinese name online.

This is what we know so far about our future houseguest:

• 8 year old girl
• Short hair (common for orphanages due to maintenance and lice concerns)
• Very small for her age (equivalent to 4-5 year old)
• Knows numbers, colors, and shapes
• Enjoys playing dress up
• Had corrective heart surgery at the age of 2
• Speaks Mandarin

Isn’t she a doll?  We are anxious for her arrival so we can learn lots more about her.

As part of this process, we wrote her a welcome letter which includes some pictures of us.  Hopefully, she is learning of her adventure about now.
